Please Read Before Booking 

Thank you for your interest in booking with Naturally Chic Salon!  We believe in honesty, transparency, and partnership and we want every visit to be a positive, stress-free experience. Please take a moment to review all policies and information below booking before your service to ensure you qualify and fully understand our salon standards.


Booking an appointment confirms your agreement with all Naturally Chic Salon policies.

NATURALLY CHIC POLICIES

Please read through all of my policies and information provided below before booking your service.  Booking an appointment means you are in full agreement with policies and information provided.  ​​

APPOINTMENTS  
Naturally Chic Salon is a by-appointment-only salon. We encourage our guests to book appointments in advance, as we do not offer same-day or walk-in services. To maintain the quality of service and personalized attention each guest deserves, we do not “squeeze in” appointments.  All appointments can be booked conveniently online 24/7 through our booking system.

BOOKING FEE 
A non-refundable booking fee of $25 or $50 is required to secure your appointment. This fee is applied toward your total service cost at checkout.  If you fail to show up for your appointment or cancel outside the cancellation window, the booking fee will be retained as a cancellation fee.

PAYMENT  
The remaining service balance is due at the time of completion.  Accepted forms of payment include cash, debit, and credit cards.  For card payments, the name on your card must match a valid ID or driver’s license, and the physical card is required at checkout.

LATE ARRIVAL 
A 5-minute grace period is provided for all appointments. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation or rescheduling to avoid impacting the next client. Each service is carefully timed to ensure the best results.

RESCHEDULE  
We understand life happens! You may reschedule once if done at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Rescheduling can be done via your confirmation email or by logging into your profile.
After one reschedule, a new booking fee will be required. Frequent rescheduling may result in limited booking availability.


CANCELLATION | NO SHOW 
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or modify your appointment. Cancellations must be made via your confirmation email or booking profile.  Booking fees are non-refundable and serve as your cancellation fee.  Clients who fail to show up without notice will be considered no-shows and will no longer be permitted to book future appointments.

NO SHOW 
Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without notifying the salon by phone, text, or email will be considered a no-show. No-shows will not be permitted to book future appointments at the salon.

MEDICAL & SAFETY EXCEPTION CLAUSE  

In rare cases where Naturally Chic must cancel due to illness, weather alerts (Level 2–3), power outages, or other emergencies, we will contact you promptly and reschedule your appointment at the earliest possible date.


ADJUSTMENTS  
Client satisfaction is our priority. If you’re unsatisfied with your results due to a potential salon error, please notify us within 48 hours of your visit. We will gladly schedule an adjustment service if appropriate.  Refunds are not provided for any salon services.

​RETAIL PRODUCTS | DIGITAL POLICY  
All sales are final on hair care products, e-books, digital guides, accessories, or devices. No returns or exchanges are accepted once products have left the salon.

HAIR PREPARATION  
You will receive a pre-appointment email with instructions on how to prepare your hair. Please follow these directions carefully to avoid delays or declined services upon arrival.

PHOTOS | VIDEOS
We love showcasing our clients’ beautiful results! By booking an appointment, you grant Naturally Chic Salon permission to use before-and-after photos or video footage from your appointment for marketing, social media, or educational purposes.

NON-KID FRIENDLY SALON  
Naturally Chic Salon is a non-kid-friendly and quiet environment designed for relaxation and self-care. Guests must be 13 years or older to receive services. Please do not bring extra guests, children, or pets unless they are being serviced.

All appointments are booked online through our 24/7 booking system. Each service includes a detailed description so you can confidently select what best fits your needs.


Do you accept walk-ins?
No. We are a by-appointment-only salon. This ensures every client receives a personalized, one-on-one experience without feeling rushed.


What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. The cardholder’s name must match the valid ID presented at checkout.


Can I bring guests or children to my appointment?
To maintain a relaxing and focused environment, we kindly ask that you come alone. Guests, pets, and children under 16 years old are not permitted in the suite.

How do I know which service to book as a new client?
Start with one of our New Client Curl Care Plans. Each plan addresses a specific hair or scalp concern and includes a consultation, treatment, trim or cut, and a style of your choice. These services help us understand your hair and create a personalized home regimen.

​What is a Curly Cut and who is it for?
A Curly Cut is performed on dry, defined curls to enhance your natural shape and balance. It’s ideal for clients who regularly wear their hair in its natural texture.
If you often wear twist or silk press styles, we recommend booking a Curl Reshape Trim on blow-dried hair instead.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
You’ll receive a prep email 72 hours before your service. Please follow the instructions carefully—arriving detangled, free of heavy oils or butters, and stretched (if requested) ensures the best results.

COLOR SERVICES
Do I need a color consultation?
Yes. A color consultation is required before booking any color service. This appointment ensures your hair is in healthy condition and compatible with your desired results. Consultations must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your color service.

How should I prepare for my color consultation?

Bring 2–3 inspiration photos of your desired color and one photo of a shade or tone you dislike. We’ll review your goals, color history, and maintenance expectations during the visit.

How should my hair be for my color appointment?

Arrive with your hair clean, detangled, and lightly stretched (a soft blow-dry is fine). Please avoid heavy oils, protective styles, or excessive buildup before your color service.

​Can I get color if my hair is damaged?

No. Color services are only offered to clients with healthy, strong hair. If your hair is compromised from heat or chemical use, we’ll create a repair plan first to restore strength before introducing color.

SCALP, HAIR LOSS, & TRICHOLOGY
Do you offer scalp or hair loss services?
Yes. We provide non-medical scalp therapy treatments to support scalp balance, reduce buildup, and promote healthy growth conditions.
If you’re experiencing early signs of hair loss or thinning, we can offer guidance and refer you to a dermatologist for additional care.
Do you diagnose or treat hair loss?
No. While we can recognize early symptoms and guide you toward appropriate solutions, we do not diagnose or perform medical treatments. Our role is to help maintain scalp health and recommend supportive styles or products.

​TRANSITIONING & CURL LOSS RECOVERY
Do you work with clients transitioning from relaxers?
Absolutely! Our Curl Rebirth service is ideal for clients ready to big chop or transition gradually. We’ll remove weakened ends and create a plan to strengthen and define your natural curl pattern.

Can you repair heat or chemical damage?
We can’t reverse damage, but we can restore strength and balance with treatments such as Olaplex bond repair and protein or moisture therapy.
With consistent care, we’ll help you transition to healthier curls over time.

What if my curls have lost their pattern or elasticity?
This is often due to heat, color, or chemical stress. We’ll assess your hair, recommend a Curl Rehab plan, and design a treatment and trimming schedule that supports recovery.

CURL CARE EDUCATION & REGIMEN SUPPORT
Do you offer education on home curl care?
Yes! Education is a major part of the Naturally Chic experience. We provide personalized Curl Regimen Cards during your visit and offer digital e-books that teach you how to care for your hair at home between appointments.
You can find our full collection of e-books and curl care guides under the Curl Education section of our website.

How often should I visit the salon for healthy curls?
We recommend visits bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on your style, goals, and hair condition. Regular visits help maintain hydration, manage breakage, and prevent setbacks.

​Do you offer virtual consultations or online support?
Yes. For clients outside the Columbus area or those who prefer virtual guidance, we offer online curl consultations and digital educational resources to help you stay consistent from anywhere.
