How do I know which Curl Care Plan to book?
Each service is created to target a specific concern:
- Healthy Hair Reset for wanting to simplify your routine, transitioners or wanting to do a big chop.
- Curl Recovery for heat or color damage.
- Curl Nourish Scalp Care for scalp buildup or irritation.
- Curated Curl Lesson for clients who want hands-on education.
If you’re unsure which to choose, book Healthy Hair Reset — your stylist will assess your scalp and hair during consultation and adjust your treatment as needed
Do I need to come with my hair in a specific state?
Please arrive with your hair fully detangled and free of heavy oils, butters, or product buildup. If your hair requires excessive detangling, an additional fee will apply. You’ll receive prep instructions via email once your appointment is booked.
Are these services a one-time visit?
No — your first Curl Care Plan is the foundation of your healthy hair journey. You’ll receive a customized regimen and recommendations for ongoing Curl Wellness Maintenance appointments every 4–8 weeks, depending on your hair’s needs.
Do you work with all curl types?
Yes! Naturally Chic Salon specializes in tight curls and coily textures (4a-4c) of all densities and porosities. Each Curl Care Plan is fully customized to your individual curl pattern and scalp needs.
Do these services include color?
No. For new clients, color services are not available during your first visit. Once we’ve established a healthy foundation for your hair and scalp, you’ll become eligible to book from our Color My Curls menu
How long will my appointment take?
Plan for 2–2 1/2 hours, depending on your selected service and hair density. This allows time for consultation, treatment, and styling without feeling rushed.
What happens after my first visit?
You’ll leave with a personalized Curl Care regimen card that includes your recommended products, treatment frequency, next trim date, and key habits to maintain your results at home. You’ll also be able to pre-book your next maintenance appointment before leaving the salon to stay on track with your hair goals.
I’m currently transitioning or have heat damage — can I still book?
Absolutely. Transitioning clients or those recovering from damage are perfect candidates for the Healthy Hair Reset or Curl Recovery experiences. These services focus on restoring strength, elasticity, and moisture balance while safely trimming away weakened ends over time.
Do you offer children’s or men’s services?
At this time, services are available for clients ages 13 and older.
