My Curl JourneySharing your curl journey and giving some advice can help other's who are new to this curl journey. 2023 PHOTOS: After transitioning from heat damage in 2018, in Aug 2019 I got Rose Gold color. After wearing that for a couple of months I switched to Red in 2020. In 2020 I had COVID, after getting over it my hair felt horrible so I cut it in a bob Fall of 2020. My color grew out and now I'm growing out my hair again even though I love the bob shape. I miss being able to do my updo's & pin-up styles and I need more length to achieve those. How has your curl journey been? My curl journey has been a breeze since I was trained in curls and learned what the hair needs. Compared to my natural journey there were many ups & downs especially before going to school in 2013. Even though going school for natural hair they really did not go over what products are good for natural hair. I started off with nice curls and my hair was being hydrated. I was somewhat implementing the CGM but shampooing my hair with shampoo. It wasn't until I added oil into my regimen my curls went lifeless. Once I got trained in curls and did more research looking back on my hair journey everything started to click. Since 2018 I’ve been helping others embrace their curls, transform and hydrate them. Showing them their curls like they have never seen before. What advice would you give to other natural starting out on this curl journey?
