HOW TO DO A TWIST OUT ON NATURAL HAIRWhen doing a twist out on natural hair it’s all about the technique of twisting and the perfect product to achieve that defined curl and hold. Before you begin this style you need to decide which type of twists do you want to do this twist out. If you want two-strand twists, three-strand twists or flat twist you can do them in different sizes it is up to you.
Two-strand twists are double strand of hair twisted together to achieve a twist Three-Strand twists are three-strand of hair twisted together to achieve a twist Flat twist is twists that are achieved by flat twisting the hair close to the scalp. Start off with freshly shampooed and conditioned hair. Proper cleaning with no product buildup left on the hair will help this style set and last for days. After your done cleaning the hair DO NOT towel dry hair let hair remain wet. Follow up with a leave-in conditioner. You will need a twisting cream preferably one that has a hold to it. Section of the hair so that it will be easier to twist. In the front section of your head make sure to part of the section where you would like your part to be. Dying time, I prefer to sit in a hooded dryer for about 20-30 mins to let my hair dry some and then let it air dry for the remainder of the time. It’s up to you if you want to skip the dryer & let it fully air dry.
