Types Of Alopecia
Alopecia is abnormal hair loss, balding or reduced hair density. There are several different types of Alopecia, depending upon the location on the head, how they evolve on the scalp and their underlying cause. Some contributing factors such as:
Heredity those with family history of hair loss Physical health hormonal changes especially thyroid or postpartum shedding can affect hair growth. Emotional health hair growth cycles can be affected by extreme psychological depression/anxiety, stress, or trauma. Drugs or chemical ingestion growth cycle can be affected by some medication (I.E. general anesthesia, antidepressants, and steroids just to name a few). Types of Alopecia
